Remember Fall Horsie? That sweet, dreamy ensemble led by Halifax-bred, Montreal-based musician Justin Karas? Remember their last album, Devil(e)durge, and how it was the prettiest album about Satan that you’d ever heard? Well, like most good things, Fall Horsie has adapted and evolved into a new ensemble called O’ The Fool. In an email, Karas mentions that the group is nearly finished recording an album, and you’ll be able to hear many of these new songs during the group’s December 14 performance at St. Matthias Catholic Church along with Secret Colours, Cat Bag and It Kills. Man, church shows. This + Clementines (I already ate four today) + laughing my ass off at Bad Santa the other night almost makes me feel “spirited.”
