Wow! It’s been sooo long since these guys were around! How can anyone remember? Like, hummm, maybe 2008 when they had a number 1 album, and before that as long ago as 2005 when they had a different chart topping album! Sorry Tara, I know it’s not some painfully hip local indie group. That dig made, I still have to thank you for bringing this to attention!

I think I subconsciously grouped them in with Staind and those guys from the late 90s, which may be why I think they’re more “classic” than “current”…
Try thge fact that they have recently released an album Industructable Disturbed’s third studio album to debut at number-one on the Billboard 200, making Disturbed one of six bands to ever achieve three consecutive number-one debuts, and it remained in the top ten for five weeks. It also peaked at number-one in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Indestructible was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in July 2008, for shipping over 500,000 copies in the United States. The album has also sold over one million copies worldwide. The album’s lead single, “Inside the Fire”, received significant radio airplay. The single remained at number one on Mediabase’s Active Rock chart for fourteen weeks, setting a record as the longest running number-one single on that specific chart. “Inside the Fire” was also nominated for a 2009 Grammy award in the “Best Hard Rock Performance” category. The title track, “Indestructible”, also reached number-one on Mediabase’s Active Rock chart, making it Disturbed’s second number one song on that chart in 2008.Maybe Miley Cirus next year you probably like her she is on the sell out radio sations around the metro area
Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything. Fourteen percent of people know that.
Seriously though, you should really change that. It’s kind of insulting to Disturbed and annoying to anybody who would be interested in reading about this.
