Busy music news week here in Olde Hallyfucks! The latest announcement comes to me via Facebook, where 122+ hip kids have already clicked “Attending” to the Crystal Castles April 1, 2011 show at the Halifax Forum.
Ah, “Air War” – I remember the first time we met. You sounded like a bunch of broken computer chips being thrown over a balcony, and/or one of the quieter Aphex Twin songs with a stompy, determined beat and an alien baby singing overtop. Is this good? I still don’t know, really, but it made me dance:
Anyway, whether you think they are high fashion icons, the coolest people in the world, Chiptune/art thieves, crowdsurfing stunt-hipsters or all of the above, one thing is for certain: This will be interesting.
