Fans of Homicide: Life on the Street and The Wire (and I know some of you are out there—stuffwhitepeoplelike.com told me so) will be excited to hear that the incredible Clark Johnson will be in town for ViewFinders. Johnson, who directed the opener and closer of The Wire and starred in its final fifth season, is also a driven activist who picks his projects based on their social worth. On Friday, April 25, he’ll speak to high school students about being “Master of his Screen Destiny” and also has plans to work with students from North Preston.
