Apparently, Blue Oyster Cult had something better to do
A few months ago, I excitedly wrote about the Cabin Fever Rockfest, scheduled to take place May 8 and 9 at the Forum. I was not only anticipating the concert, but also the Millers, the tattoos and the cars. However, it was just announced that the whole kit and caboodle is cancelled and tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Still, I think someone should find a way to bring Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, White Lion, L.A. Guns, Enuff Z’nuff, Dokken, RATT’s Stephen Pearcy, Slaughter, Faster Pussycat and Bullet Boys to the Forum. Do it for the people.

Did anyone ever see that Dazed and Confused rip-off movie The Stoned Age where they kept calling “Don’t Fear the Reaper” “the pussy song” and one of the dudes had gotten hit in the eye with a laser and was hallucinating a giant eye or maybe Jim Morrison or something? That movie sucked, and so does BOC. Guess this town isn’t as Q104 as I thought.
PS I’m just like you, I put my pants on one leg at a time. The only difference is those pants make gold records.
Sad but not surprising. This whole thing looked skethcy from the beginning. From the amateur web design to the fact that nobody knew who the promoter was – not to mention the fact that the cabinfeverrockfest.com domain was registered to an offshore domain anme hiding service…’nuff said.
