On the weekend I received my first Henry Ian Cusick rumour sighting. Best known as button-pushing, hatch-living, Penny-seeking Lost character Desmond, Cusick is shooting the PBS/National Geographic movie, I, Darwin, about the evolutionary scientist. Most of the production is taking place at the NS Museum Prescott House.

  1. Love Henry Ian Cusick! Wish we had a picture or two from these sightings…. 🙂

  2. Darwin’s wife is being played by Frances O’Connor, an Australian actor who was in an amazing movie called The Book of Love from 2004.

  3. Somebody should try to get a photo of him next to the ferry with a sign saying “Not Penny’s Boat”.

  4. hahahaha! If you get one, I’ll find a nice place in the paper for it. Or someone could buy him a lottery ticket with the numbers: 4 8 15 16 23 42.

  5. I saw the signs for this up near Canning, wondered what they were filming. Now I know!

  6. Frances O’Connor is a WAY bigger deal than ol’ Ian! She is amazing, she played Fanny in Mansfield Park! She was also in The Importance of Being Earnest, along with Colin Firth and Judi Dench and others. Other stuff too. Lots. And she’s very pretty.
