The Chronicle-Herald and Metro have both confirmed via Twitter that the Black Eyed Peas, Weezer and Classified will all be tearing the shit out of the Common on July 24. The cost? Your soul.
More acts TBA, as well as announcements for the July 23rd show (Stephen Cooke says it will most likely be a “high energy rock n’ roll show” with a “different demographic” than the July 24th show, aka—-old people.) Watch this space for info. (We are still crossing our fingers for Tom Petty at Magnetic Hill. It could happen, yo.)

I got to the press conference late and couldn’t get through the sea of Q104 fleece to see much, but yep, that’s what happened. Nice looking sandwiches though. Poor Weezer–they will always be remembered in press releases as the “Buddy Holly” band.
Apparently there won’t be package pricing because the shows are so different in demographics. Let the bets begin.
BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
