If I could write a one-word review of Black Dynamite it would be: “Awesome.” Or maybe “righteous” would be better. It is quite simply funny, silly, stylish and enjoyable. You could also describe it as gloriously ridiculous—what Sanders has done is assembled all the best parts of 1970s Blaxploitation B-movies and taken them to absolute extremes. Any time you get a slain brother revenge story, a trip to Kung Fu Island and a showdown with the president all in one movie, you know somebody is doing something right. Hilarious dialogue, a kickass soundtrack and a complete rejection of trying to be anything more than what it is makes Black Dynamite work. It is unabashed campy fun. Can you dig it?

Loved this movie, it was just silly and fun and so quotable. Very refreshing.
