In late 2008, Antony fans were treated to the Another World EP, the devastating title song (suicide note?) which also appears on
The Crying Light, their third full-length release. If you’re not
moved, see a doctor. Antony Hegarty’s androgynous, alien voice soars
above the piano and strings like an instrument, especially on torch
songs like “Her Eyes Are Underneath The Ground,” with poetic tales of
nature and human isolation, like a modern Wordsworth. Though this
album’s missing an ass-shaker like Another World‘s bluesy “Shake
That Bird,” “Epilepsy is Dancing” cries glitter and grace in a slow,
