Press screenings began today; a usual prelude to the AFF madness. My reviews of both films will be in print next week in The Coast. Bright Star is review restricted anyways, and, in this case, I am grateful that I am spared from making any snap judgments on the film. It moved me deeply and I want a day or so to process how it did so.
Trailer Park Boys was a quicker assessment; the kind of film that you know what you think about it as you watch it. I’m interviewing the Boys tomorrow morning and don’t know what to expect.
