Songs and doing good deeds around will warm your heart better than any half-assed hot chocolate, trust. DaPoPo Theatre gives you a chance to unwind while helping raise some funds for Vile Passéist Theatre’s upcoming production of The Roaring Girl. A Little Cabaret (Friday, January 25, 9pm at Menz & Mollyz Bar) features songs lovingly presented by Garry Williams, Kristi Anderson, Zach Faye and special guests.
“The idea is that different independent theatre companies can use the Little Cabaret as a fun way to support each other’s work and cross-promote,” DaPoPo’s artistic director Garry Williams explains. “We hope to run a Cabaret Night at Menz & Mollyz every two months—possibly every month, if the idea catches on, in support of various independent companies.”
