Just in time for spring break comes 21 and Over, essentially The Hangover but set in college. Which is exactly as appealing/obnoxious as that sounds (depending on your tastes). With one last semester before they all graduate to the real world, two high school friends come back together to take longtime buddy Jeff Chang out and get wasted for his 21st birthday. Once he gets blackout drunk, will they be able to get Jeff back in time for his big med school interview in the morning? An exaggerated screenplay stops any characters from thinking about how insane wacky plan, after wacky plan, after wacky plan to find out Jeff Chang’s address is. But why waste time on thought when there’s racial stereotypes to laugh about? A movie which presents a beer pong game as the height of slow-motion climax, it’s a tour-de-force about idiots, for idiots, but also sadly by idiots.
