To the staff of every workplace in HRM:
CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF IN THE STAFF ROOM!
I want to eat my lunch in a relatively clean environment which is made impossible by the piles of dirty dishes you leave in the sink day after day. Not to mention the piles of dirt, crumbs and god-knows-what-else you leave on the counter. Oh yeah, and the encient food you’ve left rotting in the fridge, some of which has turned to compost by now.
Take the 5 seconds out of your day to take responsiblity for your mess. We’ll all be happier because of it.

Mmmm…nothing like hardened week old donair bits…
Hell the HRM people do a lousy job keepin gthe city clean & that’s the job that many have…but they would have to pry themselves out of the warm dry trucks we taxpayers have supplied for them.
What makes you think people who can’t even do a good job, would care what kind of pigsty they eat in ?
Staff fridges are generally cesspools of grossness.
let’s bring in come Mexicans or Jamaicans to clean up the crudd
More: The post seems to be about ALL staff EVERYWHERE not city employees.
Seems like you might have a bitch of your own to write!
What I’ve always found amusing is that the microwave never seems to stay clean for more than 2 hours. In my office, it’s cleaned by the night cleaners and when I go to heat something up at noon, it looks like there was an explosion of tomato soup inside of it.
These lazy assholes think that the cleaners will do it for them–NOT! One simple word describes such people who cannot pick up after themselves: PIG!
Do you work at The Coast by any chance? Our sink should be a municipal malfunction.
my staff room is spotless. There is a marble counter top that is shiny like new, the cappachino machine is always cleaned after use. the stainless sinks are stainless, and dishes free. every one who uses the pinball machine seems to know not to leave garbage on top of it. every one always uses a coaster on the coffee table while watching the big screen, even if my fellow employees only have an hour long coffe break they always manage to fluff the pillows on the company nap bed. and even in the staff gym and spa all massage tables and machines are wiped down after use.
