If you didn't like country music would you go to a place like the Rodeo or Cheers on a Saturday night. Most intelligent people would avoid such places. However on Saturday August 23, 2008 a genius decided to go to Reflections in spite of his hate for the gay community. This guy in his infinite wisdom was smart enough to leave the bar at closing calling the patrons “fagots.” This was not the best decision on his part as the female I was with decided to stand up for herself and to also stand up on the behalf of the majority of patrons there. The situation escalated and the two ended up in a pretty heated fight in which he hit an innocent bystander in the face and knocked him to the ground. At this time he was also hitting the female and they had each other pinned up against a white SUV which was parked outside the club. One of the bouncers at the club was asked if he was going to allow this guy to hit this girl to which he replied “she swung at him first” Shocking I know. It took myself and 4 of our friends to put an end to the fight and get the hell out of there. The question I would like to ask what a bouncer gets paid for because it is apparently not to ensure the safety of the patrons at the club. Fine...she swung first and he swung back....but shouldn't the bouncer have had enough competence to break up the fight? Isn't that what he's supposedly being paid for. The bouncer who refused to step in and do his JOB should be fired and it's a shame that Reflections will tolerate such behavior. As for anyone who is ignorant enough to hate a whole community of people because of their sexual orientation should go somewhere else on Saturday nights because they sure as hell aren't wanted at Reflections.
