To the asshole who keeps stealing garden and landscape material (stone blocks, stepping stones, plants) in the west end: You do realize that this sort of thing is sold in stores, don’t you? Why don’t you stop stealing our stuff and go buy your own? We know you’re around now and we’ll be watching for you. -Gardener Missing Part of A Garden

  1. At least he’s not leaving a “security deposit’ on your chives.

But, Yeah – thieves are lower than Zombie smegma.

  2. Not that I condone what happened… But of course they know it’s sold in stores and yes they know they can buy their own, every thief does. They just didn’t want to. Now if they read the bitches, you just warned them!!! Now they are just gonna wait a month and go steal more of your garden at like 3 am!!

  3. gad, I don’t want to hear about this. I was gobsmacked when I got here, looking at all the yards in the city with lawn furniture on the porches. unchained! unalarmed!

you could take a page from the chives incident and smear your own poop on attractive garden items. they would drop said item quite quickly I would bet. even in the dark.
    refresh daily.

  4. Sounds like a sketchy landscaper is too cheap and sleazy to buy their own supplies. I could understand a drug addict stealing copper wire and tools to sell, but certain things are only stolen to be used by a different company.

  5. Maybe the thief is really a crew of besmudged-faced children using bits of your garden to create their own small symbol of hope amid the toxic hopelessness of the shithole they’re forced to grow up in, somewhere like Pinecrest?

But good luck catching the POS anyway

  6. I still remember when some arsehole stole a forsythia I had planted, 2 weeks after I bought my first house ever and was beyond excited to be planting a yard of my very own. Decades ago, and it still makes me grit my tea.

  7. An an ambitious young enterpreneur could probably make a bundle selling those to successful small businesses up and down Spring Garden Road.
I wonder how long until we see them in the doorway of Vegan Lesmeat’s constituency orifice on Gottagun St.

  8. Do you suppose the route went through any sharia patrolled zones? And if it did, what would the dhimschitz at the Guardian have to say?

  9. What a glorious morning it is. I’ve just been out on the balcony in my jim-jams, with a cup of booze-laced Keurig, reading about the U. Of Washington rowing crew at the 1936 Olympics and just about every species of bird life that frequent the woods around the dacha have put in an appearance. Corbies rawking from the top of the dead Elm, Bluejays darting around the Oaks looking for acorns, Starlings flitting in and out of their nest in the parking lot light standard. Even Cardie the Cardinal did a high speed fly-past in front of me. And I’ve only seen him about 5 times in 8 years

Nice way to end a thoroughly grim week. Hope everybody else in Bitchland is having a huge Sunday, as well ♥

  10. I just scored a gorgeous, perfect condition vanity for the bathroom I am re-doing for $30!! and then went to the doggy park with little jack perched on top of it like a little prince.

and I only have 2 cubic yards of mulch left to shovel.

    happy day indeed!
