Often, it’s the smaller assignments that are the most daunting, especially if it’s your last of the year (or ever!)

My very last assignment when I was in school was a 120 page paper. It was due at 1pm on a Thursday. I started it around noon the day before and finished it at 4am, slept and had time to shower/get the bus downtown to hand it in. (and I got an A+ and the highest mark in the class, boo yah). ANd some people in my class had actually paid people to write parts of the paper for them and were idiots for bragging about it.

I worked on that motherfucker like a motherfucker and it was the most focused I’d ever been.

Meanwhile, a measly 1000 word paper (which is like, four pages double spaced), the week before took me three days to actually complete.

I find going to the library and not plugging in the wifi helps A LOT. Because then, you’re forced to work (or stare at the wall, otherwise). Just make sure you print off your electronic sources if you need them so you aren’t tempted to go online.
