Pissy, bored, spaced-out and deserving waitstaff: Ask yourself, what is your role here? I understand your bitterness about this not being your dream career, I understand your work is fraught with all manner of assholes, arguably paying for the right to be more deserving than you, but fuckin’ christ treat me like a person and I’ll do the same. Or at least treat me like a hungry/thirsty robot and you still get a tip. If I could hand the chef some money and carry my plate to my table and back, I would. Ps. Some of you are awesome. -Home Cook
