PEOPLE ARE SO FRIENDLY HERE EVEN WHEN THEY’RE NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU SOMETHING. MY NEIGHBORS SAY HELLO TO ME. THEIR CHILDREN PLAY IN THE STREETS AFTER DARK. MOTORISTS WAIT FOR ME TO CROSS THE SIDEWALK AND NO ONE ACTS LIKE THEY’RE CONSTANTLY EXPECTING TO BE MUGGED. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU PEOPLE?

(P.S. SORRY FOR THE ALL CAPS BUT I AM FROM LOS ANGELES AND OUR PRINCIPAL EXPORT IS EXAGGERATION) —CONFUSED LOS ANGELES TRANSPLANT

  1. people say ‘excuse me’ when they cross your path in a grocery store aisle. still boggles me. love it.

  2. I am not friendly OP. I frown at people and am impatient in checkout lines, frequently huffing and sighing so the person ahead of me understands how much I hate them. I don’t talk to any of my neighbors and if they look at me funny I kill one of their pets just so they know I mean business.

  3. Hoist you were rude to me on here in the past as well.I’m sure it was all a part you had to portray

    I’m not a psycho.
    No,I don’t make stuff up.

  5. Ah yes, that was a good one. Here’s another one I also liked from that bit.

“I’d love to continue this battle of wits with ya What a Crockpot, but it would appear you are unarmed.”

  6. ^^ no you don’t. only in your own mind. your feet are normal for your height. they would be clown feet if you were only 3 and a half feet tall.

you probably got foot trauma when you were a kid. my mom used to say ‘at least you won’t fall on your face’.

  7. haha, me ma’s old adage was “imagine how tall you would’ve been it you hadn’t grown so far along the ground” i would look odd with little feet

  8. Yes it’s this thing we do here op. Called basic human decency. I’m glad you’re into it. Stick around.
