OK, the new city snow manager has to stop. There is no reason that the snow couldn’t have been pushed further back the first storm instead of 3 feet from the curb. You can start paying me for your snow removal. 30 cm of snow turned into a 4x4ft+ dam at the end of my driveway. No longer the cities problem and it is off the street. Now it’s my problem. I have plowed and this is stupid. Snow that was light  now has been compacted. These kinds of decisions kill people. —Matt

  1. The plow plug at the end of my driveway was taller than me. Guys with plows on their trucks are making a fortune.

  2. What’s with all of this complaining about shovelling snow from the end of the driveway. Do you want the roads plowed or not? The first pass after a major storm is to quickly clear a path for emergency vehicles. The second pass is more methodical.
When you bought a house you should have known that shovelling after multiple passes of the plow was part of the deal – unless you just moved here from Australia. So, suck it up snowflakes.

  3. I got 10 ft by 5 ft at the end of my drive, courtesy of the city plow. 🙁 Was trapped for a few days. Not cool.
