You straight up caused a cook to slice into his finger and managed to brush it off like it was his fault. Have another one you fucking lush. You know nothing about food especially food safety. You need to report this idiot or at the very least threaten to. What he did was a crime and he did it once he’ll do it again, maybe not to the chef but to someone else. I know jobs are hard to come by, but he does not deserve to have a buisiness if that is how he treats his staff, and maybe you’re better off elsewhere.

OP, I hope your co-worker went to emerg to get fixed up, as that is a legal record of his/her injury.
Tell your co-worker to go and have an informal (but on-record) chat with someone at the labour board, so your co-worker can find out what recourse he/she may have, should this happen again (I have done this in the past, and it has been quite helpful). You don’t even have to give names (boss and est) if you don’t want to….seriously.

My friend, who had never had a mean bone in her body let alone a criminal record, was taken away in handcuffs and dragged thru the court system for nearly two years.

The owner crossed the line a long time ago. Abuse of any kind is crossing the line, including verbal abuse.
My bosses come into my kitchen uninvited too and act like they own the place, they pull all kinds of shit out and start making something only to realize they don’t know what the hell they’re doing and get pissed off. If I ask them to leave or tell them how they could actually help they just yell at me. They’re always switching orders halfway through my prep and asking for things not on the menu. Toddlers are so annoying.
