This is to the drunk driver the pulled up beside me the other day and Dartmouth. Now most drunk drivers who drink and drive usually sneak home and not say a word to anyone what the hopes that they don’t get noticed. Not this guy he pulled up beside Us, and said something I still can’t make out not very bright it never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of people I come out to bars jump into their cars or trucks try to fool the rest of us…. So if you take the time to read this, I hope the cops all your ass over someday throw your b*** in Jail. And put your name in the paper…. Idiot — stupid drunk drivers

OB you should have try to get the license plate and reported them, if they were drunk and driving it could go really bad
911 and follow them until the police get there to pull them over. I have absolutely no respect for people who drink and drive or the people who enable them!!! Drunk driving, most selfish crime ever.
What they said ^^^.
Were they swerving while driving? Maybe they just had a speech impediment (or they were from the South Shore) and they were just asking you directions to the Mic Mac Mall.
Agree with Stephen. Did you contact the police?
Always report people who are under the influence of drugs. I called the cops a couple weeks ago on a young man who was smoking a joint in his car.
Irresponsible. Stupid. Selfish. Dangerous. Seems like a good idea at the time.
All words that describe drunk driving.
The Captain knows better than to sail after a pint of grog. Better to drop anchor and sleep on the waves, make port in the morning.
I think OB was drunk when posting this… no punctuation marks; run-on sentences… And what’s with using asterisks to block out the word: butt?
See, The Captain is smarter than Erin Brokovich…
Did you do something about it or just let them ride off and bitch about it?
If you did (i.e.: called 911 and reported it), than great! If you didn’t and just logged onto LTWWB after you got home to bitch about it, you kinda suck.
I hold the bartender who served a known drunk driver in his establishment and the whore who let her husband borrow her car after his license was yanked for too many DWIs just as responsible for the deaths of my aunt and uncle as the shitbag who drove down the wrong way of the 102, hit them head on and killed them both leaving their three kids orphans.
Please call 911 people, if you see a drunk driver on the road.
Keg. I’m from the South Shore and I don’t talk like that there Lord Jees there you for shore.

Pretty good article if any of you conservatives out there wanna feel stupid.
Vote Libertarian! Drugs for Some; Assault Rifles for Others.
I still have my doubts but I am starting to see the sense of decriminalization, at least for marihuana. I see a lot of reasons why criminalization is costly and inefficient, but those don’t automatically translate into societal benefits. I don’t see my life being appreciably improved by allowing those who want to grow, buy and use , free license to do so without having to worry about serving more jail time than a pedo. If law enforcement didn’t have to worry about “a plant” (triffids and giant hogweed take note) they could concentrate on stamping out garbage like meth, heroin and cocaine – shit that actually does have a deleterious effect on society, along with the human waste who produce and use it.
Fuck it. We’re already devolving into a cave state. Decriminalizing marihuana is not likely to speed up the process. Just stop trying to convince us that it will slow it.
And – let me own military grade assault weapons . After all, I’m a responsible adult. You have no reason to suspect that I will improperly use them, sell them to children, commit robbery to buy more or graduate to harder stuff like self propelled artillery or suitcase nukes.
Pass de Uzi pon de lef han side.
Yes, cause there is a direct correlation between pot recession and and the use assault weapons. Why is it that you can’t have an educated conversation about the socio-economic benefits/harms of cannabis without diluting the conversation with hysterical accusations of pure stupidity. Its unfortunate that as a society we cannot separate our personal feelings and run on facts alone. Besides, what do we have to lose? If it doesn’t work, all it will take is a stroke of a pen to revert back to prohibition if “society falls apart”.
Possession, not recession. Wherever that came from????? Stupid auto correct.
Geez HarperD. I thought I was being quite moderate, for once. I was following up on something that Penn Jillette once said – “The Gun People and the Drug People need to realize that they are on the same side” I will admit that trying to tie firearms in with narcotics is me having a bit of a larf, but for me, the principle is failrly similar. I should not have to justify a hobby or interest on the basis of its utility or whether it seems to be a “bad thing” to ignorant people who have neither knowledge of or interest in it. The onus certainly shouldn’t be on me to demonstrate that I am to be trusted. Licensed and trained – absolutely. But don’t assume that a firearms collector or enthusiast is a mass killer in waiting. Any of this sound familiar?
Dope isn’t the only societal issue where “we cannot separate our personal feelings and run on facts alone.”
So, if you want to convince us conservatives, don’t try snowing us with pseudo-scientific bullshit like “Hemp cleans the air”, “weed cures cancer”, or “we so desperately need that artificial sense of serenity and fellowship, now more than ever”
Try couching it in terms like:
“If we weren’t spending so much money on imprisoning potheads, we could buy all kinds of new jet fighters”
That’s an argument I can get behind.
“So, if you want to convince us conservatives, don’t try… “
Jesus, you conservatives actually believe that you’re the parents of a country full of children you must protect from ourselves. 10-4, Dad!!! LOL!!!
