Tonight as I was walking my dog I noticed a cat meowing for help from the roof of my house. You were a kind stranger who stopped to help me get her down. We tried everything we could think of for a good 30-45 minutes, including calling the police, the neighbors, and you boosting me up so I could try and grab her, but we couldn’t get her down. Finally we had tried everything we could, were forced to give up, and you went on your way. Just wanted to let you know, shortly after you left some fellows who are taller than I climbed up and managed to get her! I called the owners and they came to pick her up. I hope you see this so you know that the kitty is safe and sound, and even if we didn’t manage to get her down ourselves, I appreciate you stopping to help! —Crazy Cat Lady

  2. So despite being short and your efforts resulting in abject failure, you’re getting a Love. A back-handed Love but a Love nonetheless. Sorry, it’s the Monday in me talking.

  3. SheSang, you seem like the coolest chick. Always so positive and an awesome comment on every post.

It’s nice to see the cheer between a lot of the nastiness and stupidity!

  4. Thanks PupleFire–nice of you to say and right backatcha;) I really enjoy spreading positive vibes, but I like it best when they ‘just happen’ (like now;P)–hope the day is being sweet to you!

  5. Btw Reg, hope that the Langoliers have gobbled up ugly Monday, and that you are enjoying a much less stressful Tuesday–3 days till the weekend…hang on!!!!!

  6. @Zed: In the words of a great space cadet…er…space captain:

    “Never give up, never surrender”

….wouldn’t want to have to ‘avenge you’ Zed, but ‘by Grapthar’s hammer’, I would if I had to;)
