We understand that your happy hour specials may change but you either need to stay on top of the specials that are being advertised for you or you need to accommodate when someone SHOWS YOU that your happy hour specials are advertised a certain way. Saying ‘sorry, it’s incorrect information.’ is not acceptable. It’s not our mistake, it’s yours. —Anonymous

  1. gad! what an asshole kind of bitch. i pity the server that had to cringe under your prissy pissant-ed-ness. you’re the kind of nit picking bully who makes your date shrink into the woodwork from embarassment. the credo ‘the customer is always right’ was not invented so you can be lord or lady for an hour over service staff.
behaviour like this just indicates you are very powerless in your own sphere.

  2. what kind of guy stops for a game of golf when he is carrying his own son’s remains in his truck? must be scottish

  3. You guys are seriously calling the OB out for being an asshole when it’s the business that fucked up?

The business advertised a certain price/special. Once the OB got there, the business refused to honour that. It doesn’t make the OB an asshole, it makes the business an asshole.

Any decent business would’ve honoured the special then perhaps put a correction notice on their door about the specials.

This is a completely legit bitch! I’d be pissed off too if this happened to me. And oh hay, this HAS happened — and you know what? The business honoured the advertised price. AND! It made them look even better to me and I’ve told others about it! So it was actually great PR for them. And in the restaurant industry, you need all the good PR that you can get. We’ve all seen the constant stream of closures around here.

Once it even happened when my dad was buying a car. A price was advertised on the car, but it was the wrong one. Over $2000 less and guess what? The dealership honoured the price.

OB: be sure to write a review of this place in the review section (and then link here! I wanna know what kind of asshole place this is) and include this information. Any business that pulls this shit isn’t worth patronizing in my opinion (and I won’t).

I’d also write a letter to the manager/owner.

You guys kinda suck for blaming the OB for something that wasn’t their fault (that they had every right to get pissed off over if they weren’t going to honour an advertised special).

  4. Must side with OP on this one. If a business advertises a special they should honor even if they forgot about it. “Sorry, it’s incorrect information” just doesn’t cut it. I should try that if I get pulled over for speeding. “Mr. LeCrisp, do you realize you were going 20 km over the posted speed limit?” “Sorry Officer but that’s incorrect information” replies LeCrisp.

  5. nah, my bitch with the pissyass bitcher is with their pissyness. the style, not the substance. the situation was legit, but what a pretentious & pompous, peevish and prissy little bitch it is. it’s not a solid, meaty bitch. it’s piffling.

  6. I don’t see anything petty or pissy pants about this bitch, Molly. I think it’s a legit bitch and was written quite respectively. The OB was given poor customer service and had every right to bitch about it.

This bitch is way more legit than 90% of what’s bitched about on here, imo. Top it off, there was no name calling or any pettiness whatsoever in the writing.

  7. Not really 🙁

Hell, I’d write this bitch if this happened to me. But I’d add a part about how I got up and left!

Bad customer service= huge pet peeve!

  8. we hear with our own eyes and see with our own ears. one’s perception of anything is always affected by the freight train latched to our ass. i ‘heard’ this bitch in a different way than you did. heck, look at the son-mom bitch and see all our varying reactions to it.

its all perception, because there isn’t enough ‘fact’ in the bitches (actually none since the bitcher has his/her own slant on things always) to make an impartial judgement. every comment we make is partial, biased, painted either rosy or ochre hues by our own frames of reference. (not to mention damned bifocals)
now lets wait for mm to pop in and point out all my assumptions, incoherence and piss poor logic.

  9. Oh GOD just don’t say his name! That’s when he appears!!!!!!!

  10. i was very careful kitty, i did NOT stand in front of a mirror and i only said his name once, oh heck, it was twice. we don’t dare use those two letters again or it will ‘release the creak-ing!’
