Guess what? When the sign says “dog on leash required” you have to have your dog on a fucking leash. I dont care how friendly your dog is, or if the dog would never hurt anyone. I should not have to “assess the relatively friendliness” of your mangy pooch as it gallops toward me and my child as we walk in designated on-leash zones. Take a lesson from the responsible dog owners and put your dog on a fucking leash, all of the time…and pick up after your flea-bag every now and then as well. —No Mutts For Me

Yet again the need for more off leash dog friendly zones in HRM so dogs can run free and not bother people rears its ugly head.. If we had more places to go less people would let their dogs off leash in on leash zones. Simple. Until then, my dog eats children.. watch out! Lol

It was a year and 3 days ago that I put down my old girl, who coincidentally, never wore a leash a day in her life. She would sit by the door and wait for me when I went in for groceries/coffee/etc. I never concerned myself with idiots with your shit poor attitude, and I doubt I’ll start now. While I agree that dogs should be leashed in “On Leash” areas of public parks, I’ve encountered FAR more children than dogs who, IMO, should have been kept on a leash.
