Protein bars don’t make you fit.
They don’t hurt though…
just goes to show what difference a little planning ahead can make.
Dem protein bars ain’t diet – they’re pretty high calorie and lots of sugar. Better off buying yourself some mini-pizzas, they’re the same amount of calories, cheaper and you get satisfaction of eating an actual meal. I be getting mad fit after switching from thick-crust delissios with the rabbit turd sausages to the minis at only 200 calories a pop! Don’t worry though folks, I wash er all down with a mars bar so I don’t get too skinny!
Protein bars are processed food and, therefore, edible garbage. What a waste of money, at either place.
eat a banana
Um, broke people don’t have $2.29 to drop on protein bars ‘cuz they’re, um, broke, girl.
Retail markups? Oh the humanity! Call the police! Someone should do some investigating. To think, there are people out there buying a product for one price and reselling it for a higher! Boggles the mind.
a movie theater i go to does this with popcorn- and soda
If you think protein bars will help you get fit I could ask you the same question.
Poor, fit, girls who can’t afford 5 bucks for a protein bar can’t afford 2.25 for one either.
Other than the membership, I don’t spend a dime a the gym, especially not protein bars. Gotta maintain this magnificent physique.
Bananas. Check ’em out.
I’ve got a protein bar for you, here, let me unzip my kecks.
I will submit that though processed… the whey is the GOOD part that they used to throw out in the whole cheese making thang to keep all the fatty, sugary good stuff that makes most cheeses so deliciously bad for us.
If it (and milk) weren’t so god damn expensive, I’d be on 2 shakes a day with a fibre additive in there just so I wouldn’t shart all the time.
Actually if you buy the “right” protein bars they can be good for you. The Quest bar is the best bar for nutritional value, hey if bodybuilders and competitive athletes eat them during a contest prep it is good. Order your bars online, way cheaper
so… go to the drugstore.
Seriously.. i don’t even… And ttfn and capt are correct. You’re eating junk food op. Why not eat well (ie: shit you make yourself) and exercise? Works fine for me. I’ve never had a protein bar in my life.
