I recently heard a radio ad for “Sexy parties” where a woman is heard beckoning and enticing a dog. The listener then discovers it’s actually a man acting like a dog, presumably some kind of domination fetish that would happen at one of these “parties”.

Now imagine the reversal where we had radio ads of men beckoning and treating a woman like she was a dog. Could you imagine the national uproar? People would be calling for those mens’ heads on sticks for fuck sakes. We would have some kind of national press conference talking about the “oppression and objectification of women”.

We all know it’s only sexist when men do it! A perfect example of our fucking backwards mentality when it comes to equality. Men have to sit through this kind of shit and we can’t do anything about it. We have no right to complain. We have no right to disagree with it. We have to sit quietly and live with this double standard.

Just remember: It’s empowering when they do it! When you do it? You’re a sexist chauvinist oppressive pig! — I Thought You Wanted Equality

  1. Feminists don’t want equality, they want revenge. Even if by some minute chance they are able to make every single aspect of human existence “equal”… What would they do with it? Besides, we will never be equal. I can write my name in the snow without taking off my pants.

  2. Whatever op. I LIKE being objectified. And i LIKE objectifying. Nothing pisses me off more than running into a man in uniform who is fat and ugly Or if he’s hot but doesn’t take his shirt off.

    Wasting my damn time…

No but seriously. if everyone involved is happy being objectified and degraded for the purposes of sexytime great. But if someone tells you to fuck off and go away?

    FUCK OFF AND GO AWAY.

Men tend to have more trouble understanding that than women do. That’s the ONLY problem. Women don’t like to be rejected at all. So they’ll go away with some dignity (usually… Stalkers notwithstanding) Men will push and push until you have to kick them in the balls.

  3. like the old saying goes, a man is the closest thing you will ever see to a dog. case proved. case closed. arf, arf

  4. Yeah but, signing your name with pee is a skill that takes practice to perfect. Bleeding is just nature, and you can’t do it on demand.

  5. we got an uber lesbo in charge here in ON..this could be a turning point in the world of swm’s as we/I know it 🙁

  6. almost 4 billion women on the planet …way too many IMO to bother wasting time on one who don’t want you around !
When I was a younger man I liked my female companions to be like a tissue, soft , nice smelling & disposable !

    But I’ve mellowed ~;D

  7. i just scratch my head in puzzlement why so many intelligent women identify as feminist to some degree or another when there are such fine examples of manhood like more-on.
    go figure.

  8. I was watching The View last week (I know, I know) and they had men with no shirts serve them Martinis while they sat arounf and talked about whatever. Got me thinking … What if the ESPN sports casters brought out bikini clad supermodels to serve them liquor … Lol, it’s a funny thing. Ah well.

  9. It is somewhat of a double standard, but at the same time, women have been sexually repressed for much of history.

  10. re: the view . i wouldn’t consider a commercial tv show that depends on mass popularity to be a shining example of idealism of any stripe except the almighty $. they are going for ratings, not truth or honour. it’s entertainment. hell even billie jean did it with her entrance into the tennis match with that old fart, all show.

and people tend to only notice something that irks them,. i doubt that op counts up all the beer commercials, men’s cologne ads, sports, car, truck…. anything manly that features pneumatic young thangs panting like dogs for the man holding/wearing/driving the product.

he sounds like just another old guy complaining he can’t smack his ‘little woman’ around anymore without some ‘feminazi’ getting her picket out prior to jabbing it up his arse. gee whiz.

  11. i googled the ad donk. my gawd. tasteless???? how could you consider that tasteless???

i was literally drooling at the mouthwatering, juicy, meaty images paraded in front of my eager eyes. pulled pork plus those french fried onions??????

OB, I think that most sane people would agree with you that if it’s not ok to objectify a woman then it’s not ok to objectify a man in the same way. You CAN complain about this shit….in fact, I think you just did.

  13. However, I agree with eats_crayons: what a person does in the privacy of their own home/relationship is their business.

I just don’t care too much to have it (the objectification of men or women) shoved down my throat.

  14. I actually agree with this totally.. while I wouldn’t be offended either why by an ad like this even if the rolls were reversed I know some women would be and I know some men that would be too. While I think people should be treated equally.. I don’t think society tells men they can’t complain and express their opinion.. and if it does then you need to push the envelope and do just that.. I do sometimes feel on the lady’s part of equality that some women are frowned upon for being a stay at home mom because they aren’t in the workforce and acting as an equal member of society but that would be a different rant altogether.
