I am ashamed to admit I am from this city! A beautiful day, street is busy with tourists and the garbage and litter along both sidewalks of Barrington Street is awful.
I have been to other cities in the Maritimes and none of them looked like this!! For goodness sake, doesn’t the friggen city own a couple of brooms? Shame on you Halifax!! —Pissed off…

Sure…but the city employee(s) would have to get off their ass & out of the truck (that we pay for) to use it.

THen we would have to have the truck guy & the guy who works the broom, & of course the Supervisor & his flunkey, to make sure it goes smooth….did i leave anyone out ??? Oh, yeah, the guy to work the shovel so the broom guy has a place to sweep the garbage to…hmmm I wonder if then there would have to be another person to hold the garbage bag? ? ? & would he need a helper to help him lift the heavy bag into the truck…is this to large a crew for one supervisor ? ? ?

That Mayor Knobby McDickshrink can stroll down Beggartown Street on a regular basis and not raise an eyebrow to the trash, bums and empty storefronts pretty much says it all.
That’s cuz he has his eyes on the ground picking up stray bullets and spare change.
Yup, the city stopped collecting garbage some time ago. I’m not surprised it is starting to fill the streets.

The garbage is not limited to the downtown area. Just check out the highways, parks, etc around HRM….plenty of garbage and Tim’s cups there. Oh, can we add in the white-trash of Spryfield and Sackville too?
