To the bus driver who drives the 21 and the 18 on most Sunday mornings,
I think it’s awesome that you always wait until each individual person that steps onto your bus sits down before you continue on your route. I’ve been on many, many buses where I’ve almost fallen flat on my face because the bus driver cannot wait three seconds for me to find a seat. It is a kind gesture that I really appreciate and I’m sure others do as well.
You rock! — Thankful For a Steady Step

Must suck when all the seats are taken and someone gets on…
you’ll be sitting there forever. Or I guess standing forever if you’re the last one on.
^^ churl alert! pbbbbttttt
i think it’s a nice thankyou.
I think it’s kinda stupid… it’s a bus.
Do you not expect it to move and keep on schedule?
When you get on, EXPECT it to move… so that if it does, you’re ready and if it doesn’t….
well you’re fine regardless.
duh.

arm them all!
I got a pretty nasty bruise on my elbow once from not expecting the bus to move so suddenly. More my bad than the driver’s really. But this dude/chick is a good example of some of the decent bus drivers we have in our city, always nice when someone appreciates the small positive things other people do for us.
Thank you OP! I’ve had many come up and tell me how much they appreciated how I waited until they sat down before I hammer on the fuel pedal. The extra few seconds is worth the prevention of an accident or incident.
How many ask you why you’re always so fucking late?
^^^ youthful but curmudgeonly ^^^
None actually Zed, when I’m late its either being stuck in traffic or if the bus broke down. Buses can’t fucking fly over traffic which many people seem to think.
I was trying to sit down in a sideways seat once when the bus started moving. Gave the guy sitting beside me a lap dance. I thought it was hilarious, I think the poor guy was mortified though
