if you are having to find a replacement for your station before leaving, then yes, you will need to ask for a replacement.
Being a cranky old foghorn that doesn’t like to ask for a replacement, does not mean that he has to ask for permission.
When you gotta go you gotta go ! Having to get permission in a retail environment seems a bit silly, its not like yer on an assembly line !
What’s the big deal about going to the bathroom? If they’re taking ten because of a big dump, I don’t care, I can wait. The staff tend to be all over me when I don’t need them and when I do, I can’t find them so…meh.
