As someone who has to wake up at 5:00 AM tomorrow to go to work on the waterfront I don’t appreciate the loud music.

I’m aware it’s only 11:00 right now but that is one hour past this 22 year old’s bed time. I’m not sure how late this concert runs and that’s the problem…

I hope everyone is having fun down there because it’s going to cost me a night’s sleep.

Also, not looking forward to the crowd on my waterfront lunch break tomorrow. —Lots of coffee breaks tomorrow

  1. I’m staying the hell out of Hali this weekend – I’ll opt for Hillbilly Hollow and the porcupine throwing contest at the Legion tonight. My sympathies, kid, working the waterfront would be like having a thousand screaming toddlers biting your ankles.

  2. hah yeah I work down there too and am a smoker who hates smoking around children.. ugh it was a nightmare today

  3. If it’s a public event they probably have special permits for the noise, LS.

To top off the fucktardary (fucktardedry?) downtown, the new bridge was down to one lane going each way. Good decision, bridge commission! I tried going to dirty dartmouth today and the traffic to get onto the bridge was backed up almost to the robie street exit. It was actually quicker to drive down barrington and do the loop onto the old bridge.

  4. What concert?

Oh the MacKay….they ripped up a span of it, so it’s a freaking traffic nightmare. Avoid it like herpes on a hooker from the Palace.

  5. yeah, I headed to darkside as well.. luckily hit the bridges in the right order…. across on the new bridge, back on the old….
though it may have been just as quick to get there had we taken the bedford highway around.

    insanity.
