So my mother tells me that MY grandmother’s NEW husband is occasionally disrespectful to my great grandmother.
I don’t know how old this man is, but if I ever see him disrespect my 93-year-old great grandmother… —X

Respect IMO is earned…not given just because someone is old.
I have met some wonderful older people, who I’ve had the pleasure of working with, or just family or family friends I have never met or met so long ago I can’t remember it.
But there are lots of old cranky fucks out there & why would I respect some asshole who hasn’t got one nice thing to say. Some of these complaining cantankerous old know-it-all’s can cause one to get a real hate on for longevity, in general.
I’d tell off anybody who disrespected my great grandmother. Old, young, mentally challenged or whatever; insult my great grandmother and deal with me.
arseholes just turn into older ones
is he one of the vampires/werewolves you are worried about x, seems to me, if the old gal, wants some, then she will get some. leave them the hell alone, and don’t butt in, unless she asks you too.
Isn’t it the same old stereotype of hating the mother-in-law?
Just give him a slight push, he’ll fall and he won’t be able to get back up. I hear hip surgeries come with a 6 month or longer wait now.
Or maybe mommy doesn’t like him because she thinks he’ll horn in on any inheritance. So she’s going to cause problems.
