I didn’t get that at all, OP. In fact, the article starts out:
“Why women don’t report sexual assault”.
Then, it goes on to say why black women are less likely to report it.
Although there is some obvious anger at the majority group as a whole by the author (who is of a minority group) I don’t see how you got that she is claiming white women got it easier–unless you are referring to her thinking that it would be easier for a white woman to report to white men.
I think you could understand why she would think this. Regardless, she is a victim who is trying to come to terms with what happened to her, she came forward with her story in order to help other women, and if it is anger that help to empower to do so, I think we can be understanding about it.
Have you even heard her whole piece?
If no, then you have no idea. I wasn’t referring to the article that was linked, I was referring to the fact I’ve heard her do her rape piece live.
