To start with…you will not be in the film. THat’s what cut reset is for!
Secondly they can always remove you in post !
Third, they can stop/slow you for a minute while a shot in progress finishes, just like a flagger can get a car to stop for a minute or two. but in my experience most of the film crew could care less whether your there or not.

I don’t mind them so much, they’re pretty friendly to me, the only thing that annoys me is when my street is closed off and I have a bunch of crap to unload from my car.
What are they filming? I saw them at Cousin’s… pretty cool really. I can handle the brief inconvenience of running on the road to get round them, that was fun at rush hour. But meh, I survived to tell the tale…

Well, NGF, it is nice when local home owners support local businesses. In this case, it would be businesses on Agricola, near the commons. Lost and Found, Cousins, etc. Sorry for being so dumb. Now why don’t you go drink some bleach.

Tip: BBQ daily……pour bacon fat directly on the BBQ to smoke out the “scene”. Play very loud music (try Celine Dion’s banshee screeching). Do whatever you can to ruin the filming experience. When they come knocking, say you will stop for the right price. You didn’t sign the contract to allow filming there, so what’s in it for you except inconvenience.
If it’s a Canadian made movie there will probably be more people involved in making it (translation; grant from taxpayers) than will watch the piece of crap.
OP, I think you are imagining it, the world doesn’t revolve around you. Any filmmaker worth his salt is used to this sort of thing. If I’m wrong and they are being assholes to you, then they’re just bad at what they do, or students.
sometimes it’s not the film people but the security they hire. They’re either overzealous or completely ineffectual.
It’s called The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Fun-Time Hour, it’s a new series and it stars the (former) Trailer Park Boys. They’re shooting for the next two weeks in the city, and believe me, they’re spending a fuck-ton (tonne?) of money.
OB, If you got a dirty look from a crew member, don’t take it personally- crew are always cranky.
