You’re gonna need to explain your post to me. A couple times.
I’ll shag your layer.
layered shag you mean a female mullet thing ?
I would love to have a layered shag. Between Gerard Butler and Hugh Jackman….mmmmm
why not just go bald. might as well, all the homies are doing it now, and you might be one of their ho’s someday, maybe soon.
Inverted Bob? Oh what, that’s Introvert Bob. Yeah, he’s never out either.
i’m with sodeypop…the shag i understand but who is this bob?
According to research, here is the “inverted bob cut”:

and this is the “layered shag”:

I still don’t know what the hell the OP is complaining about. Do they want scruffy looking women?
Inverted bob is shorter in the back than in the front. Layered shag is Jennifer Aniston in the mid 90s. Either one is fine with me, who really cares? Only crappy thing about the inverted bob is that you have to keep cutting it because it gets scraggly looking quite fast.
layered shag it is then.
so it’s unanimous.
OP, problem solved.
Why are people so concerned these days about how other’s look and dress? I don’t get it, there has got to be more important things to worry about.
It’s human nature to judge how someone looks, Kirbul. Anyone who says that they’ve never judged anyone about how the look is a liar.
Dr fever, I have never judged someone based on their hairstyle.
You see someone in a Che Guevara shirt…does that make you run because he must be a revolutionary ?
Does a guy (or girl) dressed in leather, with heavy boots & a helmit scare you? Make you want to rumble ? Buy a motorcycle ?
Being judgemental over a hairstyle…Who gives a shit , I mean really, what does hair style have to do with someone being nice, mean, self absorbed, nasty, aloof ? The prisons are full of people who when out in the world, had hair styles that run the whole gauntlet from bald to hanging down past their ass.
I’m more apt to pass judgement on how someone behaves, what they say. Than have a care for what hairstyle they have & I’ve had partners with long hair, short, curly…I really never cared, how they want to wear their hair is their business & doesn’t in any way effect me…so why bother giving it a seconds thought ?
Then I call you a liar, More. Whether you consciously do it or not is another matter, but we as humans judge each other all the time. Our words, our looks, everything. That’s how we organize our society.
Anyone notice that the “posh spice bob” is the same as the kate gosselin reverse bob, except kate’s reminded me of “something about mary….
it sounds high maintenance…non merci, i’ll stick with what my gene pool doled out
Fever, the shag haircut picture made me spit with laughter. Chickie’s forehead is so botoxed that smiling is forcing a uni-wrinkle just under her eyebrows, spanning her whole head. It’s nature’s revenge.
I hear ya, Three. What’s really interesting is that this was the first image that Google generated when I put in my search. So that’s the face of the “layered shag” haircut… I’d rather look at Rhianna then look at that crinkly face… It’s got manufactured beauty written all over it.
Well fever, That’s your opinion.
Its IMO rather sad that your all so judgemental.
I barely pay attention to other people, I am perfectly content to step over the body laying in my way. I see no reason to concern myself with others outside my circle of family & friends. You may as well be a bunch of mannequins in various poses etc. when I go to a store I see you all as obstacles to be avoided, similar to vehicles on the road. I don’t judge them, I already know THEY ARE DAMN HAZZARD ,I avoid them to the best of my ability & carry on with what I’m doing.
Next you’ll be calling me a liar because I don’t care what race you or anyone else is. We all bleed red, show me someone who bleeds blue or florescent green & I will look at that & I may even be judgemental about it. But I have native, black, asian and white family members, either by marriage or birth & none of them are any different than I am. So this judgement thing about hairstyle is IMO rather silly & definately of no significance.
But then again I often run on pure hate, & that certainly has never had anything to do with a haircut ! ! !
While Dr. Fever is pretty much right on.
But ‘judgment’ is a word that is broad. I think that’s what he’s getting at.
‘Judgment’ is not usually, unless one is dumb enough to think they’re smart enough to make an assessment on someone immediately, based on style, an ultimate judgment of a person based on said style.
What we do, always, upon initial introduction to someone, is assess them and ‘judge’, within 14 seconds, their sex. How we do this is based upon how we as individuals, and what we know of others through experience, assess our own sex.
This assessment could easily include appearances (HAIR STYLES), behavior (speech, physical approaches such as a hand shake), as well as conversation, and I’m sure others.
As Dr Fever says, it is how we, more or less, organize our society (individual assessments and human tendencies to move in groups, etc).
On the individual scale, this initial assessment immediately decides, or begins to decide, how comfortable we are with this new person, how we will interact with this person, as well as establish a projection to ourselves of what this person has that pertains to what is useful to ourselves (i.e., friendship, business, love, etc.), and where this ‘relationship’ will lead.
And this, as Dr. Fever suggested, ultimately leads to how we, the people, organize our society. Insiders, outsiders, groupies, loners, etc.
More just a couple of days ago you judged me to be a lazy, stupid oaf for watching a hockey game. You’ve been on an especially high horse lately; what the fuck is your problem?
cabin fever
he just needs some candy
Whenever I see an older (50ish) woman with an “inverted bob”, I assume she’s a high maintenance bitch that wastes money. Can’t help it – I think it’s something to do with the fact that, like hollah said, you need to keep trimming away.
i do believe mr. more needs a good fuck, anyone up for it?
If Dr.F is right then so is MM with the Halifax Underclass. Some of you may want to go back to review what he was teaching.
LOLOLOLOLL ahahah so truu. inverted bob is so corny now, its like t-boz from TLC. So nineties, so corny, so outdated.
Interesting – I think you made a great point jennier – More definitely judges people on their choice of entertainment. More, you’re a hypocrite. And have proven yourself wrong. Well done. I watch hockey… what do you want to tell me about my personality???
From your statements on this page, I judge you to be an emotional, overbearing, opinionated jackass – but perhaps that’s not you in “real life”, just what I gather from a few random facts…. like I would take from some 40 year old lady with perfectly dyed hair and manicured nails… I could conclude she has extra $ to spend and a need to look “good”. To whomever her audience might be.
C’est la vie.
Myself… I prefer the shag. But that’s because I’m lazy. (you’re welcome to guess that from my appearance, you’d be right! Generalizations work…)
The Inverted Bob? The Shag? How ’bout The Ka-Boomie? All you need to do is roll your hair in hand grenades, then pull the pins.
how about someone just shag bob invertedly and be done with all this?
Jennier…what exactly has that to do with your hair style ?
The fact your a proud member of the braindead Fanatics of hockey…IMO has absolutely nothing to do with a hair cut & or lack of hair. Like I mentioned I judge people as being an obsticle to avoid, THat has nothing to do with how you dress, your sex, color of your skin, wardrobe or hair… Like a co worker once said to a new guy I kicked off my rigging crew ” You haven’t got a chance to complaining to the BA about your preceived rights…he hates everyone equally”
I’ve been running on pure hate lately… I’m even finding dealing with family more trouble than its worth.
Anyone see this mornings paper ?
All those loyal fanatics being true to form…must make all the rest of you FANaticS bright green with envy !
I love it when mental midgets show the rest of us exactly how far we’ve evolved from the days of the gladiator’s. Its still all about blood & destruction… sharpen the sticks I say…take away the padding & face sheilds !
your right Sultan, hairstyles can tell alot about people. Take a look at some of the peps ya know. Hairstyle can tell if their control freaks, sluts, fake, lazy, laidback, followers or got their shit together.
Smacker
it seems your ability to read has also been affected by your recent troubles, as the police were clear about who is behind the looting and destruction last night: assholes who have no interest in hockey using the cover of celebrating fans to cause trouble.
It was your comment of “Its IMO rather sad that your(sic) all so judgemental.” that made me bring up the judgement you laid on all hockey fans last week, nothing to do with hair.
I disagree, Balls. MM proposed an ill-conceived societal construct to prove some sociological theory… He was essentially trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Judging people based upon their appearance is a evolutionary response that goes beyond self-imposed societal constructs.
We look at people’s appearances in a subconscious fashion, we look at their eyes, their mouth, then the remaining exterior to judge whether or not this person is a threat (real or not). Now granted, we as humans do have a moderate ability to control it, but we still respond on a very basic level. If we had the full-on ability to control it, we wouldn’t need to dress for for a job interview, or we wouldn’t have to get dressed for a date with someone we’re trying to impress (the converse is true when you are in a relationship with someone for a while, the exterior appearance factor becomes less important).
To simply say that “I don’t care about how somebody looks” is to lie about our own nature as humans. We make judgments about how people look without realizing it.
So you don’t judge posters on their writings, only looks? You’re a fucking Idiot.
No, I judge on both, but at least I’m not arrogant enough to think I’m above judging people.
You choose to judge people and to your own extent. Yes Mores judgment is “they’re in my way”, but he’s not necessary judging their hair style or anything else. You don’t decide what someone else is thinking.
Consciously that may be the case, but subconsciously that process happens, whether you want to admit that or not.
It varies drastically person to person. You don’t know what Mores subconscious is pulsing about. Hard to believe you think you do.
If it’s the “in my way” thought, his subconscious could be judging the size of objects he has to maneuver around. And in that moment, hair may not enter his thoughts. Or he could just be in lala land.
