This bar in Halifax has taken away reviews on their facebook page after another band posted their distaste for the way bands were treated. Only harassing young women when a man smokes out the bathroom. Asshole booking guys who threaten to sue people. Silencing reviews when people voice their concerns. Insulting bands that play and how they dress. Sucky watered down beer. —Someone who is taking their business elsewhere

“Only harassing young women when a man smokes out the bathroom.” HUH?!
A young man smoked weed at a heavy metal show in the bathroom of the bar. The bouncer started harassing two girls who had mistakenly walked into the bathroom not moments before (they couldn’t have been in there for more than a couple seconds). One of the two was a friend of mine who, for respiratory reasons, does not smoke. The bouncer continued harassing these young women until another one of my friends martyred himself and took the blame (one guy kicked out instead of two girls). I have been following their facebook reviews page which recently got removed after people started saying that the bartenders were being racist and another band complained about the contempt they received from management.
