Obviously, we can all agree that we like cute little homes more than car dealerships, and petitioning to change zoning to reflect that is perfectly reasonable. But Steele Honda doesn’t deserve to be BOYCOTTED for the mere act of purchasing property, you cause-du-jour dunces. Steele employs 100 people and wants to expand. 1. According to neighbour’s NOT protesting, this nonsense is being perpetuated by the Ecology Action Centre and a handful of community activists who don’t live on the affected area. Keep in mind that the EAC has recently renovated their property; could this be a ruse to save their investment?

  2. Don’t worry. I highly doubt anyone who are boycotting were ever going to buy a Honda from Steele in the first place.

  3. Don’t worry. I doubt anyone who signed the petition to boycott were ever going to buy anything from Steele in the first place.

  4. Yes this is super short-sighted. We have enough condo’s as it is. There are plenty of other properties for sale in and around that area. What we need are more JOBS so people can afford to live in them.

  5. Oh no, Not the Yuppie mixed use condos for foreign rich kids! Replaced by a dirty car dealership employed with scumbag high school grads and community college losers, Oh the humanity, What will the birkenstock wearing, fly around the world to every place they can but bitch about the environmental impact of Honda Civic hypohippies do now! Burn the cars, Its crappy falling down pot smoke infested shit holes or Yuppie condos only in this city…. The hideousness of employment growth shall be banished to Bayers Lake…
