  1. What bee is in your bonnet. If someone wants to sell mayflowers, roses, tulips or whatever, who gives a fuck.

  2. let me guess, the mayflower is a on the endangered species on account of climate change and if we continue to remove them from their natural habitat the polar ice caps are going to melt and we are all gonna die, right than 🙂

  3. Picking the flower isn’t a problem, they’re perennials, and very easy to find NS forests.

If someone’s selling Lady Slippers, that’s a different story.

  4. How could you buy Mayflowers in April ?
    they were obviously fake !
Someone scamming you with April flowers & you couldn’t tell the difference !!

  5. They were nearly exterminated in New England from people making those damn little bouquets, it’s still illegal to pick them in Massachusetts. It’s a perennial plant yeah, but it grows slow as balls.

  6. Sure they’re perennials, but their incredibly delicate root systems are quite easily damaged by pickers, which means they may not come up again, ever. They also don’t transplant or propagate well, meaning that if an area is pillaged of mayflowers, they’re likely gone for good. But hey, it’s just our provincial flower, it’s not like it would be an absolute disgrace if they were picked to extinction or anything.

  7. Shut up OP….. I would much prefer to pay someone for picking flowers than having to go do it myself. I like people that sell flowers. It’s much better than the people that sell crack and dope that you are not complaining about.
