It actually drive me WILD when we’re about to arrive at a terminal (example: Lacewood, Bridge, Mumford, et cetera) and someone pulls the cord. THEY HAVE TO STOP! You don’t need to pull the cord. ALSO, when people play music on the bus through their phone, or even speakers. Sorry, no one wants to hear your gangster rap. Next time I’m on the bus I’m going to come right back at them with some S Club 7 or some Biebs! If you’re reading this and you’re the type of person who does this…YOU’VE BEEN FAIR WARNED!

The best is when the bus has been sitting for a few minutes and as soon as it starts to move again, ding! Sometimes I wonder just how long that person would have to sit before they get off their lazy ass and walk the extra minute. Some people would sit all day to avoid a little walk. Old and disabled people, I have no problem with doing it.
I’d like to have a remote that could control all of the phones of people listening to music on the bus. I would set them all to the same song and turn up the volume to create a booming chorus of …

A Tide commercial?
How about the song that never ends? It would get stuck in EVERYONE’S heads. The perfect revenge lol
Another fake bitch. Even when the guy has his tunes cranked, the best you can hear is pretty minimal compared to all the other noises on the bus.
I really hope you get the cord wrapped around your neck as you are egested, shrieking, from that fetid, reeking tube in to the cold antiseptic light of day.
Just in case you didn’t know OP, not everyone is from Dartmouth/Halifax area, so not everyone knows what is or is not a required stop. Also, for destinations like the ferry, sometimes if someone pulls the cord, the bus driver will stop at the actual doors instead of the stop. Get over yourself, put in headphones or block your ears, or close your eyes, or just don’t take the bus if the noise or actions bother you too much.
I pull the cord because I had TWO different bus drivers drive past the terminals (Penhorn and Alderney), then proceed to tell me that I “have” to ring the bell, even for a terminal. I know that isn’t true… they ARE supposed to stop at t-e-r-m-i-n-a-l-s, but it’s hard to reason with stupid people.
You can stand at a bus stop and they’ll pass right by if you don’t jump out in front of it and do the chicken dance…
Not sure I believe ya Naveed… though I suppose perhaps maybe some junior drivers might not be quite up on all the rules.
I hate the terminal dingers too.
I think what scares me is the fact that OB has s club 7 and beiber on their phone to begin with. That’s valuable memory you’re completely wasting.
Wow, who pissed in your coffee?
^ No it didn’t. Rudeness is not an invention of the ‘dang millenials’. I know just as many piece of shit baby boomers as I do kids.
I do this and will continue to do this. Deal with it! It’s a bus stop like any other and I will pull the cord. My bitch? People that pull the bell, wait for the driver to come to a complete stop THEN make their way to the door….then get all pissy when the driver starts to pull away (because everyone else that was AT the door for the stop got off). Note: this applies to rush hour commuting and excludes elderly, people with children and people with disabilities. To all you able bodied people, make your way to the door as we approach the stop! I’d love to see people try this in Vancouver or Toronto….if you aren’t at the door when the doors open you’re getting off at the next stop! It’s rush hour folks, let’s be efficient! It’s the same as people that are buying something then wait until the cashier has rung everything in before they take out their wallet and fumble for their money/bank card etc….UGH!
