God damn! Pull into a spot, get your lazy ass out of your car and…I know this sounds weird….WALK INTO THE STORE! When you come out with your coffed in hand, give the person in line that hasn’t moved at all a little nod and a smile. You’re wasting gas, polluting the air and causing headaches for people on the road. You can actually park in other places besides the Tim’s parking lot too! Please and thank you. —Stewart

because people are lazy and ignorant…they don’t want to get out of their vehicles for any reason. tho i don’t understand why anyone drinks that swill
It’s especially bad at the Tim Hortons near Canadiana (gag) in Bayer’s Lake. I just lay on the horn at them. I don’t care if they want coffee….it’s obstruction of traffic. Take their plate number and report them.
Well geez…. if everyone listened to Stewart there’d be no need for drive-thru’s. And we need drive thru’s…. although they should just have’em in rural areas. That way, if you’re on a road trip and don’t want to get out of your car in a storm/rain or just cause you’ve been driving and you’re lazy….. you can just drive up to the window. I agree with the traffic headaches they cause though…. there are some in Sydney that cause streets to become impassable altogether until the last of the cars gets into the actual lineup (especially Welton street and Reeves…)
hey jonno he’s new i am trying to be magnanimous tho i still say its swill
and in first place for offending timmies is, tada, clayton park shopping center. there is an accident waiting for you. not to mention inconsiderate assholes plugging up traffic lanes. what happens in a fire, no trucks getting thru, hmmmmmm.
I find the Timmy’s on Barrington Street in the South End to be pretty bad for traffic, causing problems both on and off Timmy’s property. Fucking bums there too, man! (Fucking bums, yes, not fucking bums). Crackhouse is just across the street so that may have something to do with it.
i thought they were closing that one…where is this bum fuckin Q?
i know that one. Right down by the SuperStore. The one at Lacewood Shopping Center is truly the hell of all Timmy’s though. I’ve seen more people almost hit pedestrians, other cars, light poles, Tim Hortons……. a lot of real wankers both inside and out…. I really try not to go into that one EVER. And don’t get me started on the McDonald’s next door.
pain, they were closing the one actually downtown… not the one near where it turns into inglis
the inglis one is always a bother… lines right out onto the road all the time.
And on todays news, Tims are opening another 900 outlets – where will they put them?
great soon there won’t be anything on barrington…not even crumpled up-godammit i didn’t win shit-cups
Don’t know if this is happening at other Timmy’s, but the latest thing for bums to do at the South End Barrington Street Timmy’s is catch drivers on the way out since they obviously have to stop and usually wait for a while before turning back onto Barrington Street. That spaced out kid has been hanging around there a lot too, as well as the shorter dude with the balding mullet and cool sunglasses who calls randomly calls people “fucking cocksuckers!”
Thread hijack attempt #2…
And can’t forget the crazy bigger older dude with the reflective vest (he recently got a nice shiny new one some how) carrying around garbage bags full of cans and yelling shit. Fucking weirdo! I thought the North End was supposed to be the sketchy part, but that part of the South End definitely has some sketchiness… all by Halifax standards, of course.
Hey Op, shut the fuck up!!=) I quite enjoy laughing at the 20 lazy assholes in the drive threw line up as I park my car and walk into tim’s, go directly to the counter, get my coffee and leave. Don’t spoil it!
hahaha… nice try q…. that’s why they call ME the hijacker.
It’s just more evidence that the world’s mostly widely used addictive drug, caffeine, needs to come under the same draconian regulations that affect tobacco…
A $2.00 a cup “sin” tax will be a good start…
Hey 1fallingangels1..you’re right, it is satisfying to see their faces as they watch you walk past them! Yes I’m new here and I just discovered this site..but I love it already!
the more the merrier stewart but you might find it eventually turns into love/hate/horror^^
Oh stewart…you’re just full of win.
first realize this OP, ive been in many a tim hortons to see both the parking lot full, and the drive-thru lined up. so let me question you this. with a full parking lot, where might one park? on the street? nope…nary a spot around. another business? nope…for customers only. oh wait, why not construct larger parking lots? nope…no room. its called urban congestion. as one who lives in a built up area, you have to deal with it.
AND…@ mr frosty…brilliant idea…in a province already dealing with the highest tax load in the country, which is due to increase, lets add more by capitalizing on peoples addictions. its the nova scotia way.
They do this ALL THE FUCKING TIME at the Tim Hortons in the little strip mall in Clayton Park where the shoppers is. They block that 3 way intersection all the fucking time.
So we just lay on the horn until they move. It usually works too. You really have to be persistant though and keep your horn blowing for great lengths of time. Then they get the picture and drive through the intersection.
