Crazy…. This gets me thinking that the Coast should start a demolition gallery for Halifax… The process of our landmarks being destroyed. I took a bunch of photos around 16 years ago of old buildings on Barrington getting raised that I could contribute 🙂

I stumbled upon it one day and check back regularly for updates. The photos of the NS Power Fantasyland display in the 60s are fantastically creepy!
The CH building was a landmark?? I thought it was a shining example of a concrete monster with no street-level public interface on any side of it.
the most awful thing to happen was when they took down the capitol theatre it was a most beautiful building on the inside ,the city just keeps letting the most beautiful old buildings be destroyed…
