Just shut up already, I can’t believe you subject your employees to that day in and day out. —Heard enough

Yeah, that crap was an early form of ‘Pop Up Ad’. Must work though or they would have stopped them by now.
Ha ha ha! I always thought those were hilariously corny — as if some big corporate chain can make itself seem so much more folksy by having that guy make announcements like:
“Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit’s PICKLING SEASON! Time to get all those jams and relishes bottled up and stored in the cellar for the winter! Mmmmmmmmmmm! And you’ll find everything you need in aisle 3 . . . Pickles! And so much more! Here at your friendly neighborhood ___________Store!”
