Fuck I hated working for this company, even during the peak sales time of the year [Xmas] there was hardly any traffic. How the fuck am I suppose to make rent when I don’t get any hours.
How is this company still fucking around?
They don’t do any advertising, their mens suit section is being moved out, their appliances/furniture/mattress section looks like shit, the front entry smells like piss and there is hardly any selection of clothing.
When I tell people I worked for this company, they don’t even know what it is, or are surprised that we sell any of this shit.
I know January to March is supposed to be pretty rough, but I once went for three weeks without seeing any customers. To top it off, the sales manager is a complete piece of shit, ALWAYS looking down girls shirts, making bad jokes and thinking he’s king shit.
He made the only woman who was working in appliances quit (she sold me a great set) apparently she left because this asshole would schedule her for all the bad shifts, swear at her in front of customers and call her an idiot etc infinitum. WTF PEOPLE hello, where do these companies find these people. Oh, and they don’t have an HR department, only an HR admin so any of our complaints went fucking no where.
Oh, btw, I don’t give three shits about the Olympics.

don’t like working there, then fucking quit, asshole.
Nobody shops there ’cause the staff are so fucking hateful and angry all the time, it’s a downer to go there.
Since work doesn’t have you run off your feet, why not take 60 minutes and write a resume and cover letter? More to the point, if you’re not getting enough hours, you hate your boss, and have no prospects of upward mobility (no HR is fairly indicative of parred down for the area), then get off your lazy, whining ass and go find another job. One thing Halifax is not lacking are retail opportunities.
true dat.
Hmm…..I bought online. I didn’t see you there.
ROFLMAO sebastian_.
I went into The Bay, at x-mas, and the place was a ghost town so I can only imagine what it is like the other 10 months. Definately going back next x-mas, it was so quiet and peaceful compared to the mall, and this was two days before x-mas.
hahahahaha… this has to be K-Mart. Please tell me it’s K-Mart. Man that place is horrible.
Does K-Mart still exist? I thought it went the way of No Frills and the Dominion grocery stores.
K-Mart DOES still exist. South of the border.
Blah, oh yeah… that’s a Zellers out in Bayers Lake isn’t it? Well, they both suck….. and they obnoxious cashiers.
