What’s so difficult about looking at a toilet seat before you sit down? There’s no reason to fall in. I’ve been pooping for years now, I never fell in toilet once. I’ll continue to put the seat up for you, but please can you look so it doesn’t have to be a bigger deal than it is. —Diplomatic toilet user

Seatshaming is oppression. It’s a woman’s right to evacuate her bowels and bladder so stop mansplaining. #SmashThePatriarchy
This is one of the great mysteries of the universe. I can only assume that some women must enter a bathroom walking backwards…
I love the poop pic. So happy!
Everyone should just put both the seat and lid down.
What Charlie said. That lid is there for a reason.
Lowering the lid equalizes the situation for both genders. Arguing about seat position is for rubes who don’t know the difference.
Well if your visiting someone put the frigging seat down. Glad I only live with my daughter. I only have to remind my bf when hes over to put the seat down since he coming into a woman’s home, and he won’t be living with me anytime soon since he has a few very annoying habits that would just drive me insane if I had to share a place with him.
If your visiting a place where only women live that is just an ignorant thing to do. Always put the seat back down in a woman’s home. Your the guest so show respect.
No kidding, I have yet to piss on a toilet seat, even when fallingdowndrunk.
Why all the thumbs down.. you guys are too lazy to put the seat down or does it go against your “meninist” principles?
At Yale they teach us not to piss on our hands.
And, also, to piss all over the toilet seats of those ugly Vassar slags.
I’ve only ever dated women with more important things on their minds than toilet seat position so this issue has never come up in a relationship. But, if it had, my answer would be that the vast majority of my trips to the bathroom are to urinate. I find it to be no great effort or inconvenience for me to check the position of the seat and raise it if it is down …. so it should be equally of no great effort for a female to check the position of the seat and lower it if it is up. The effort level evens out (as minuscule as it is!).
Why should certain females expect that males both raise and lower the toilet seat on most of their trips to the bathroom just so that they never have to. We are just treating you as equals!
Now, check and lower ladies …check and lower, ……..
Growing up with 2 sisters means lowering it is ingrained in my routine.
