You applied to our company for a full-time position about six weeks ago. Your resume and cover letter were great, so I decided to contact you for an interview. In the interview, after telling you the hours of the position, you tell me you’re in school and can only work part time. Um, did you not read the job ad that stated FULL time? Dumb fuck. So obviously you wouldn’t be the right candidate. You completely wasted my time and resources just because you couldn’t read the ad thoroughly. I could have spent it interviewing someone else. You also went on about how you’re in school for Finance and was looking for a work placement you needed for your degree. Annoyed as fuck that I didn’t really need to be interviewing you, I decided to tell you that there’d be a possibility for you to get on with a work placement with us and said I’d talk to the Finance department. Total bullshit. I didn’t speak to the Finance dept. about you. It’s been six weeks since my discussion with you, and you are still calling/emailing me about this so-called position you might be getting. Every week, you have been trying to get a hold of me and after a month and a half of me ignoring you, you still won’t give up! You know how hard it is to get a job in Halifax right now? I think you’ve wasted enough of his time. Besides, isn’t it part of your job to properly screen candidates? Past employers that I’ve had interviews with usually go over basics like that on the phone before an interview is scheduled. I’m sure I’ve heard “Are you looking for full time work” on pretty much every one of those calls.

I can sympathize with the OP to some extent. I’ve had people come in to apply for a job and then announce that they can only work hours other than the hours spelled out in the job ad.
