Okay i understand in some circumstances homework is important, BUT come on! There is a limit to the madness!!!

You know it’s bad when you find yourself saying on Friday
“Yes! It’s the weekend I finally have time to catch up on my homework!”

(sigh)
And don’t get me wrong, it’s nice when your teachers give you a day or 2 off, but the annoying part is then they end up all assigning things at the same time. Then you find yourself with something from each subject due the next day! Couldn’t you even it out a bit? So then your up all night doing their bloody homework. You can’t help but be a little tired the next day so you fall asleep in class woken by your teacher’s probing finger and you reluctantly open your eye to and angry face that says

“For behavior I would like an extra essay from you, due tomorrow.”

FML! Ya know, there are other ways to learn other than homework!

  1. Would you believe this is a fact of life in a lot of jobs? Stick with it OP, and avoid procrastination. You’ll be fine.

  2. If you stay at school and do it there….it’s just schoolwork….and you’ll have no homework!

Seriously though….tell us more about this “probing finger”!!

Suck it up, bitch. Wait until you get to university and have to do some real homework. Weekends are for more than just partying and being a stupid kid. =D

    Buahahahahahah!!!!
    I love it here
    (evil grin)

  6. Is this in high school or university? I can see university but I draw the line at high school. If you can’t finish your homework in two hours or less, provided there are no Xbox or tea breaks, enjoy life down the road.

  7. haha bro tim no doubt . Wait till they have you on emercency crew “on call” for the week end . It sucks – but the premium is awesome !!!!

  8. Fuck ALL of that-wait until you have children and your life is one never ending go-go-go without any breaks or days off. I had to move out at 15 and supported myself, while going to school! Better time management will help with completing your homework and you should try and find a peer tutor if you are falling behind because you are having a hard time. Seriously, it isn’t all negative after leaving high school-I have actually found every year after 16 has gotten exponentially better. But don’t just whine about it if homework is getting you down-make some changes! If you do well you can try and get a scholarship to a better independent high school. Good luck!

  9. this can’t be high school… kids are barely even in school anymore these days.
I’m thinking this is university (and first year at that).
do you have labs as well? and write-ups?

if yes, well that explains why you’re so busy… courses with labs is like twice the work usually… and if not, well then suck it up. you could be busier if you had labs.

work smart… not hard and long.
