Your friends are unbearably sad for you but know that your boy had a wonderful life in your protective arms.
it’s almost unbearable, i can’t bring myself to touch his food and water dishes

It took a long time before I could look at the corner of the living room where Hubert slept without tearing up. I know I’ll face harder decisions in my life but up till now, it’s been one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do.
you’ve seen this ivan, but i hope others find it useful http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2012/…
*hugs*
:'(
Again my condolences Painey. We have two miniature poodles from the same litter and they’re 12. The breed lives to 12-15 years usually. We love those guys and they’re a big part of our lives. In the next couple of years they will pass on and that will be very hard to take.
thanks critter guy and the other bitchers
Loves to you, Painey, and big ass hugs.
Wheelie
Jesus, I’m sincerely all choked up here.
My heart goes out to you Painy. I know how hard it must be for you right now but I hope that you can take comfort in the fact that you not only gave this boy a good, love filled home, you (your family) probably single-handedly allowed him to make it to this, happy, ripe old age. (Like you, I know the plight of many greys that aren’t lucky enough to be put into an adoption program). For that, I KNOW that he is eternally grateful.

(It’s a little cheesey but appropriate, I think)
Keep your chin up, Painy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. xo
thanks vastie ❤ he was a big gentle boy and it hurts really bad. i’ve been carrying his collar around in my pocket. he would have been thirteen on august the 4th, this looks just like him http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/135…
Sorry to hear Painy :'(!!! I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I try to imagine and it makes me tear up! There is this video on YouTube of James Stewart reciting this poem he wrote about his dog, and I’m always bawling by the end of it but it’s so very sweet. When you can, you should check it out *tear warning*.
thanks mel, we were very fortunate and so was he
