It’s always upsetting when a sequel to a promising game falls on its face, which is sadly what happened to SWTFU2. The first game in the series was not perfect, but there was so much potential for greatness with the action adventure game where the player controls Starkiller, a Jedi with force powers on overdrive. In part two you play as Starkiller’s renegade clone and get whisked away to various locales as you try to help form the Rebel Alliance. Sadly this is a galaxy not worth saving. With a boxy, uninspired level structure and re-hashed missions where you are essentially killing the same wave of storm troopers over and over again, this game would have been OK in the PS2 days. There’s nothing innovative, or even remotely interesting about this game unless you are a die-hard Star Wars nut who must know every single aspect about George Lucas Land. The game just seems forced (pun intended).
