Joy is not retro

To all the beautiful people who got out and shook their tail feather at the Prohibition Swing Dance, THANK YOU! Swing dance is not about being anachronistic or ironic – it’s about joy and rhythm and communication. Thank you to the Jubilee Swing Orchestra for existing. And to all the cats and chicks in the Swing Dance Society, t’ain’t whatcha do, it’s who you do it with. Let’s explode the swing scene in Halifax. —Lindy
