As if it doesn’t boil my blood enough that for every single barrel of oil we ravage the earth for, 8 barrels are used. If that weren’t enough to make this pedestrian angry at the sight of car after car… after car… what really takes the cake are all those terrible drivers. This is a reminder that stop signs mean you are supposed to stop. Amber lights do not mean slam on the gas and on a cross walk the pedestrian has the right of way. Yes, that was me who threw a rock in the general direction of your car. Speeding up to make a right hand turn on the walk light that I had was a poor move. Unlike you, I was looking. Otherwise, I would have been hit. Screw you. —Roadkill

  1. I am all for throwing whatever you get your hands on at reckless and/or dangerous drivers…It is attempted assault to almost hit you with a machine with a motor and you have a right to defend yourself accordingly. rocks…eggs….kick to the side of the driver’s door, call his mama names…it is a natural response for survival…

  2. Congrats on going from a responsible pedestrian, looking out for your own safety, to being a total irresponsible douchebag. Next time take the high road, two wrongs don’t make a right.

PS: imagine what a tool you looked like, bending down, picking up a rock, throwing it and likely yelling obscenities. Way to go toolbox!!!

  3. lol FS! well it does take some skill….I used to live on Oxford and the number of peds on crosswalks almost hit by cars esp folks in wheelchairs…well I started to carry them and the first few were…. misguided……out of practice…but soon targets were hit……and all felt good…..including the almost victims…..it is just a witness’s way of saying ….you/ve been caught you muzzafuzza…..of course resorting to calling one’s mama names always feels good too… yo mama so fugly she…………….

  4. Bah….just make me some eggs benny and we’ll call it even. lol

  5. For starters, for someone so concerned about the 1:8 ratio for oil use (Its actually closer to 1:2), you should know, speeding up to get through a yellow uses less gas (ergo less oil) then stopping, and starting again.

Also, once a light turns yellow, guess what, you arnt supposed to be in the cross walk too. That little red hand means “Do Not Walk” as in, gtfo the crosswalk.

  6. Do what I do, and start packing bricks! It may add a few pounds to the backpack, but you get a better work out. Win Win!

  7. OB…what are you smoking ?
Quote ” for every single barrel of oil we ravage the earth for,8 barrels are used ” -end
    Are you kidding ?
How can you make such a stupid comment ?
IF our country produced 4 million barrels of oil last year, if your math was correct, we’d need 32 million barrels to do it ?
Where did all of that come from ?
How could anyone be so stupid to think you could be profitable spending say 8 dollars to earn a single dollar !?!

I’m of the opinion the eggs you imagined come from the same place as all those barrels of oil needed to produce your mythical one !

  8. I hope you hit the car so the idiot driving figured out to watch out for people in the crosswalk.

  9. sounds like another striking metro driver her too. what are ya trying to do now, get ridership back up, if so , it won’t happen soon. not after the shit you have pulled with the public.

  10. It really is a tailored experience Mel. It’s not some line I just throw out… Each situation is different. I figured you for an oven roasted taters with Montreal steak spice kind of girl, but that’s why listening is so important. Now I know! Hashbrowns. Half the battle, yo.

  11. I don’t drink in the mornings PG, I’m not an alcoholic.

*will have enough alcohol left in system Sunday morning to warrant a DUI*

    Jkjk, I’ll be walking.

Sugar is not what I’m after FS. I’m more of an aspartame kind of gal.

  12. “it’s noon … ” Lol pg you’re optimistic about our recovery time … if I make it in I’ll be bringing chopsticks to prop my head up.

  13. You don’t have to do that PG! I’m quite content with my Sprite :P. Noon is very early for me on the weekends 🙂

  14. haha, optimistic, perhaps. for me, it’s not if the glass is half full or half empty, there is something in the glass^^

  15. OB, the 8:1 ‘fact’ is so screwed up, I’m going to skip the lesson in economics 101, and go right to calling you an idiot.

  16. Donk & Mel, Tommy & Suckster – it’s in your interest to make the summit. More than this I cannot divulge at this point in time.
    Sorry, I don’t bake cookies so it’s not that >: (

  17. Temper, temper. Don’t stand so close to the road, dumbass. I’m sick of pedestrians and cyclists getting mad at drivers. Most of us do look where we are going when we drive. Most of us are good drivers. You walk {or bike} out in front of a 1000 pound vehicle and expect it to stop on a dime? Blow me cuz I’m not ruining my front end alignment for your stupid, self entitled tree hugging ass.

  18. >: ) That’s all we can ask. Don’t go easy on the St. Paddy’s day absinthes on our account, though.

  19. I don’t know, maybe in the tarsands that 8:1 ratio might work.

Don’t throw any rocks OP. That will just be the time a cop will be coming up behind you.
