To the jerk to took my navy pea coat off the coat hook at an Irish bar on Sat night…I want my coat back. I know navy pea coats are pretty common but when you put it on didn’t you notice the vintage digital camera in the left chest pocket. It’s about the size of a brick and weighs over 3 lbs. I hope the coat kept you warm and dry on a miserable night. I want my coat back (you can keep the camera, time to upgrade anyway).

LOL at “vintage digital camera”…they haven’t been around long enough to have vintage ones. Those old clunky cell phones or top-loading VCR’s would qualify as vintage electronics though.
Ever look at the cameras they have on sale at Wally-Martus? “It’s about the size of a brick and weighs over 3 lbs.” describes half the models they sell…

Miles you know better. Any electronic product over 3 months is vintage. At least that’s what the manufacturers want us to think.
You should get a Canon, and learn to keep an eye on your belongings.

Sounds like you had one of those old Sony digitals with the built in floppy drive. I’ve always preferred Nikon SLRs. It’s hard to believe in 2 months the ninties will start to be 20 years old and therefore “retro”. I can finally unload my Amiga computer and cassette/CD players at the antique store.

do you people wear your coats as you bomb around the bar normally? dancin on the floor in your outerwear? if the bar does not have a coat check…what is one to do? i suppose they could leave the house without a coat. would totally solve the problem of having thieves everywhere in society.
canon sk100 is a nice camera and rebels are good too- yea some bars have no coatcheck sometimes – doesn’t give any asshat a reason to steal it thou – people that steal like that should catch a nice roundhouse right in the face should they get caught .
